Bella Poarch's natural Filipino parents had Bella in the Philippines, on February 9 1997. Her grandmother was a resident of among the Manila slums until she reached the age of three. Her adopted family is comprised up of a Filipino adoptive mom and an white American military veteran. She claims that she and her adopted brother she had were abused by their adoptive parents from her childhood until she joined the military. Her family lived with her Uncle at San Francisco for several months before moving back to Texas for her 13th birthday due to the requirement of her father to undergo bypass surgery. Though the physical violence stopped, she claims to have still suffered mental assault from her father at home. She became a part of in the United States Navy at age 18. Poarch started with her TikTok account around April of 2020 quickly gaining fame with more than 40 million users in less than eight months. Her biggest success was her video for Millie B's hit track Soph Aspin Send. An edited clip of her rhythmically lip-syncing the song and leaping in sync with it, was an extremely viral video which has since become TikTok's most popular video. In order to capitalize on the popularity she gained after becoming a member of TikTok in December 2016 Poarch created YouTube as well as Twitter profiles. The popularity of Poarch grew exponentially in November, 2020. The actress reportedly caught the attention of two major professional Esports teams. FaZe Clan (100 Thieves) and 100 Thieves wanted to hire her to write the content they wanted for their brands.
