LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball professional who is a player with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. James is known by the name of King James and is considered to be one of the greatest basketball players of all time. James has won four NBA championships and four NBA MVPs Three All-Star MVPs, as well as the two Olympic medals. James holds the record for the highest amount of points scored during the postseason, second highest total career point total and seventh most career assists. This is an NBA record for him to be an NBA All-Star for 18 years. He was the third player to play in the NBA Finals. Eight of those were consecutive from the year 2011 until the year 2018. James was selected to be a member of the NBA75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became the first NBA player in history to earn 10,000 or higher career points. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, which is located in his hometown of Akron Ohio and was heavily touted by the national media as a future NBA star. As a prep to pro, the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the top pick in the NBA draft of 2003. When he was named the 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year, he soon established himself as an elite player in the NBA and was awarded the NBA's MVP award both in 2009 and 2010 In the end, he failed to capture a championship with Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent in order to be a part of Miami Heat.
