Kristen Anne Bell was born in the year 1980. She is a singer/actress from the USA. Bell is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native, born and was raised by her parents Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). Kristen is Polish (mother's) and German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen discovered her talents in the entertainment industry when she was just a teenager. In 1992, Kristen was the first to go to an audition. She got a part on Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell's mother established her with an agent prior to her turning 13, and she got her first role for television and newspaper commercials. At this time Bell also started training in private acting. Bell made an appearance on the screen in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998, as an uncredited actress. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School where she was involved in music and drama clubs. The Wizard of Oz production at her highschool won Bell the starring Dorothy role. Bell was a student at an institution called the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, where she studied Musical Theatre within New York City. In 2001, Bell went to university and decided to perform the part of Becky on Tom Sawyer. In 2001, Bell was the first to make her credit debut playing the character of Becky Pootie Tang. The film was cut, however the scene she played was removed out of the movie and her appearance was only as a credit. Bell made an appearance on Broadway on Broadway in The Crucible, a revival with Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
