Emily VanCamp

Emily VanCamp is a Canadian actor from Canada. Emily VanCamp first came to fame for her work on producer Greg Berlanti, who cast her as a series regular in The WB Drama Everwood (2002-2006) and The ABC series Brothers & Sisters (2007-2010). VanCamp's portrayal as Emily Thorne in the ABC show Revenge in the period 2011 to 2015, earned her more recognition. VanCamp appeared in the Fox series The Resident from 2018 until 2021. She is also Sharon Carter / Agent 13 and the Power Broker for The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) which includes appearances in the films Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War (2016) along with as in the 2021 Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and What If ...? VanCamp was first intrigued by acting when she took her sister Katie to her first visit to the Ladies Room film set. The actress began attending acting classes on Saturday afternoons, found an agent, and then after having worked on commercials, she was offered a role in the second episode of a special episode in three parts from the Canadian children's horror television series, Are You Afraid Of the Dark? named "The Silver Sight", in which VanCamp acted opposite 17-year-old Elisha Cuthbert.
